Women's Pelvic & Gynecologic Health

Evaluation. Imaging. Answers.

Something feels different. Not sure why?

Pelvic symptoms can have many causes. Our imaging-focused program combines a consultation with our nurse practitioner and targeted pelvic imaging to help take a closer look at what may be going on.

Most evaluations begin with ultrasound. If a more detailed look is needed, pelvic MRI may be recommended. This is not a routine gynecology exam and does not include Pap smears or routine blood work.

One Place to Start

Evaluation and imaging in one program — not three offices for one concern.

Pelvic Ultrasound On Site

Transabdominal or transvaginal, when clinically appropriate. No ionizing radiation.

Radiologist Interpretation

A radiologist reads your images. Your provider explains them in context.

You Leave With a Plan

Treatment, testing, monitoring, or referral — based on what your results show.

When to Come In

What Brings Most Women In

You do not need to know what is wrong before making an appointment. If something has changed, feels different, or keeps coming back, it may be worth getting checked.

Pelvic Pain

Persistent, recurring, or unexplained pelvic discomfort.

Heavy or Irregular Periods

Changes in bleeding, timing, flow, or cycle patterns.

Fibroids

Known or suspected fibroids causing pressure, pain, or heavy bleeding.

Ovarian Cysts

New or known cysts that may need evaluation or follow-up.

Pelvic Pressure or Bloating

New or persistent fullness, heaviness, or bloating.

Perimenopause & Other Changes

New menstrual or pelvic symptoms during hormonal transition.

Also appropriate for follow-up of previous pelvic imaging findings, or bleeding after menopause.

Care + Advanced Imaging

Your Provider and Your Imaging. Together.

Most women’s health concerns start with one question: what is causing this?

At Central Park Advanced Imaging, your evaluation does not end with a conversation or a scan. You meet with a dedicated women’s health provider and have access to advanced diagnostic imaging in the same center

Meet Gipsa Jan, FNP-BC

Family Nurse Practitioner
Clinical focus in women’s & gynecologic health

Gipsa is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and full-time member of our clinical team.

She evaluates your symptoms, reviews your history and previous imaging, orders appropriate imaging, and helps guide treatment, monitoring, or referral when needed.

You have a provider who stays connected to the process — not just an imaging order.

Advanced Imaging On Site

When imaging is clinically appropriate, it happens within our full diagnostic imaging center.

Pelvic Ultrasound

Transabdominal and transvaginal imaging when appropriate. No ionizing radiation.

MRI

More detailed pelvic imaging when ultrasound alone is not enough.

Additional Diagnostic Imaging

Other advanced studies are available when medically indicated.

Clinical evaluation guides the imaging. Imaging helps guide the next step. The goal is not more imaging. It is the right imaging for the right question.

Beyond the Scan

What Happens After Imaging?

Depending on your evaluation and results, your care plan may include:

Treatment or prescription management · Laboratory testing · Follow-up ultrasound or MRI · Ongoing monitoring · Comparison with prior imaging · Referral to an OB/GYN or other specialist
The goal is not just to find something. It’s to know what to do next.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a prescription before coming in?
You can begin with a clinical visit. Our provider can evaluate your symptoms and determine whether diagnostic imaging or other testing is medically appropriate.
Can your Nurse Practitioner order imaging and prescribe medication?

Yes, within her scope of practice. Our Nurse Practitioner can order appropriate diagnostic testing based on her clinical evaluation, and can prescribe appropriate medications and treatments when medically indicated.

Some conditions require care from an OB/GYN or another specialist.
